Meshberry Almond Milk Bags

 

#MeshberryAlmondBags are awesome! I used them to make almond milk and strain all the nut particles out! I love that I am able to make my own almond milk and get every bit of stuff out of the milk (I hate pulp in anything!) I also am able to save money by making my own. It is also healthier as I don’t add anything to mine. The set is reusable so I won’t have to constantly but cloth strainers use them once and toss them out. They wash clean easily.  I flipped them inside out and ran them under water to get all the particles off.  The fact that it comes with two bags (one 100 and one 200 microns) is very helpful. It also has a silicone measuring cup! In fact the mesh bags were in the cup inside the box, when it arrived and I plan to keep them together and store them like this. It keeps them organized and in one spot.  

Although these bags are for nut milk, I did use one to separate blackberry seeds and juice so I could make homemade seedless blackberry jam! I mashed them in a bowl then cooked them down on the stove about 15 minutes. I let them cool completely them I ran everything from the pot into a bag (With another pot underneath. Once I had what looked like just seeds left I squeezed it to get every bit of juice I could out. I then made my jam and washed the bag. Easy peasy!  I was worried about tearing the bag or causing it to stain but neither happened (I did wash right away). If you are looking for a strainer for nut milk (or seeding berries) I would highly recommend the Meshberry Almond Nut Bag!
