I needed a new cutting board and wanted one
that would catch juice instead and stop it from going everywhere. The
Bambüsi by Belmint ORGANIC Bamboo Extra Large Cutting Board
with Groove is solid! It is bamboo
and the color is very nice. The size is perfect for roast or ham but not so big
that it’s impractical for smaller meats like steak. It is a great size for
fitting in my cabinet as well. The groove catches quite a bit of juice. When I
was cutting a roast it caught all the juice in the grove. This kept clean up
simple as I didn’t have to worry about the juice all over my counter. There
were a few small marks from the knife after my second or third time using it
but that is expected see as it is a cutting board and I have extremely sharp
knives. We use a different cutting board for (fruits and) veggies meat because
I like to keep veggies (and veggies off anything I use raw meat on. So, I haven’t
use this with fruits and veggies.
