My daughter loves playing baseball with my son. However the bat is too heavy for her and she wanted one that was lighter. I wanted one that wouldn’t hurt her brother if she hit him with it (which has been known to happen once or twice around here). This bat is perfect! It comes with ball as well as a case. I like the case because it is reusable and I can keep the set organized. It also makes it easy to take to the park when we go. The bat itself is soft, but not so soft that it bends or is unable to hold up to hitting a ball. The red is very vibrant so if she forgets it in the yard, it is very easy to spot! The ball, which is also a foam material, accidently hit her when my son threw for her to hit. It didn’t hurt her and she didn’t cry (added bonus right there). Perfect for smaller kids, although my daughter did make my son use it during their game so he didn’t ruin her foam ball with his bat. He said it wasn’t uncomfortable even though he is 13. Win/win!!!

I normally use a scale when I am packaging meat for the freezer, baking, making spaghetti sauce and other things. Mine broke and I needed to get a new one before my weekly shopping trip. This scale is very light weight. It says pocket but it is a bit large to be considered a pocket scale yet perfect size to use in the kitchen. It has options for grams, pounds and ounces together, just pounds, just ounces and ml so anyone can use it and adjust to what weight measurement they like. It is super simple to use! I put wax paper down before turning the scale on so it is automatically on 0 and doesn’t include that little bit of weight into the calculations. I then select the measuring units, put the food on the scale and I am done. An added bonus is, it came with batteries. The one thing I wish was different is the top of the scale. It is plastic that is made to look like metal. I prefer a non-porous metal but that is just a preference and does not in any way change the functionality of the scale.

I wanted to change my shower curtain but the shower curtin hooks I had would only really go with the curtin I had. I was looking for something that was going to look nice, work well and not rust. There is not much to them and they are simple and clean which is what I want. My rod is two pieces (on inside the other) and I always have an issue with hooks snagging or stopping the part where the two come together. Not these. These glide very easy without snagging on anything. I like that they were easy to install and I didn’t have a hard time opening or closing them. Mine were a little dull compared to the pictures but that maybe from my computer screen. One big bonus is these say they will not rust! Also, they are well made. I feel they will last me for a long time.

It was recommended I try lavender oil for aromatherapy. I have never used it in that way so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I just knew it was suggested as a good stress reducer. I figured I’d give it a shot and see what happened. Well, I love this Ultra Pure Lavender Kashmir Essential Oil - Brooklyn Botany - 100% Pure, 1 fl. Oz - with 31% Linalool & 34% Linalyl Acetate - Great for Aromatherapy, Massages, Bug Repellent, Hair Care and Skin Care. It smells wonderful. It seems to have a calming/relaxing effect on not just myself and my husband but also the kids.

It comes with a small glass dropper, I like that it is glass instead of a cheap plastic. The dropper is well made. The bottle, which is also glass is well made. My husband mixed a little of this oil with an unscented massage oil and it was lovely.

I am not sure how, or why, my kids go through so many sets of headphones but I swear I am forever buying new head phones because something has happened to their. Since my kids are huge music lovers I wanted to get something more than a cheap pair of headphones (I thought maybe, just maybe, they would take care of them if they liked them). So here lies the issue, the head phones, while they work as head phones should and have good volume (the sound was better higher than it was at a lower volume). I mean they are decent headphones but nothing that made me say wow let me buy a pair for each of the kids.

The earbuds come with three sizes of cushions for the earbuds. The largest and middle ones were a bit too big for the kids to use. The smalls fit a little snug but that was okay. It was nice the cushion didn’t fall right off like some they have had. The mic is down lower than I like, even when I tried it on.

I ran over our other garden hose nozzle a few months ago and it broke. I knew this time I wanted to buy one that had more than 3 settings. I also wanted one that was a bit sturdier. This Heart and Adobe Watering Hose Nozzle fit what I was looking for. There are eight (Yes 8!) setting options. I of course had to test out each to see the difference and find my favorite setting, I can’t be the only one that does that, right? So here’s what I found. I like more than just one setting. The shower setting worked on my hardier fruit and veggie plants. The mist worked on my fragile fruit and veggie plants. It also reminded me of the light mist at the car wash. The full allowed me to reach the trees easier. My husband said all the different options (shower, center, cone, flat, full, mist, stream, and vertical) will come in handy when he washes his truck as different parts of his truck will need different things (e.i. windshield mist, wheel wells full …)

It is made of a hard plastic. The part you turn to change the settings does not feel loose. It also feels like it is made of solid plastic. The handle that is pulled back to make the water come out is on very securely. I am very happy with this nozzle.

I bought these ANNT Solar Powered LED String Lights for the bushes at the back of our property. I know strange right?! Well, my kids like to look out the window and/or sit on the back patio and look into the back wooded area on our property. Recently my kids have been reading and watching a lot about fairies. I thought this would be a fun surprise for them.

I have to say when I opened the box I wasn't sure they would actually be able to see them if they even charged at all. I was pleasantly surprised when my 6 year old came running up to me to tell me there were fairy's in the bushes. I was impressed with how bright these little LED lights actually are. Not only that but, the fact that it rained most of the day today yet these lights still worked.
Because they have their own solar panel, I can leave them on and they will automatically go off at dawn and back on at dusk. They are super light weight and were not hot to the touch at all. I want to order more to hang on Christmas tree this year as well as on the outside of the house.
